The ADD-155 UPS Charger is a compact yet powerful solution designed to prioritize reliability and adaptability in industrial environments. Its core advantage lies in broad input compatibility and tailored output configurations, ensuring seamless integration with diverse power grids and equipment types.
It supports a universal AC input range (88~264VAC, 47~63Hz) and DC input (124~370VDC), eliminating limitations across regional power standards (e.g., 115VAC for North America, 230VAC for Europe) and off-grid setups. The charger is available in three variants—ADD-155A, ADD-155B, and ADD-155C—each optimized for specific battery voltages and load requirements:
ADD-155A: Delivers 13.8V/9.5A (CH1), 5V/3A (CH2), and 13.3V/0.5A (CH3) for 12V battery systems.
ADD-155B: Provides 27.6V/4.5A (CH1), 5V/3A (CH2), and 27.1V/0.5A (CH3) for 24V battery applications.
ADD-155C: Offers 54V/2.3A (CH1), 5V/3A (CH2), and 53.5V/0.2A (CH3) for high-voltage 48V battery setups.
To ensure long-term durability, every ADD-155 unit undergoes 100% full-load burn-in testing before leaving the factory. It also complies with international safety standards (UL60950-1, TUV EN60950-1) and EMC regulations (EN55022 Class B, EN61000-3-2/-3), reducing risks of interference or safety hazards. Backed by a 2-year warranty, the charger minimizes maintenance costs and provides users with long-term peace of mind.
The ADD-155 UPS Charger stands out in the industrial market due to its thoughtful design, which balances energy efficiency, safety, and practicality. Below are its core features that address critical user needs:
Dual input support: The 88~264VAC AC input works with unstable or low-quality grid power, while the 124~370VDC DC input is ideal for solar-powered or off-grid systems. This flexibility makes the charger suitable for both urban factories and remote industrial sites.
Built-in active PFC: The active Power Factor Correction (PFC) function reduces harmonic distortion, boosts power factor to up to 0.95, and cuts energy consumption. This not only lowers utility bills for industrial users but also aligns with global energy-saving standards.
Safety is a top priority for the ADD-155, with multiple protection mechanisms to shield the charger, connected batteries, and equipment:
Short circuit protection: Instantly triggers to prevent damage from wiring mistakes or equipment malfunctions, avoiding costly repairs.
Overload protection: Activates when load exceeds 105~135% for CH1/CH2 and 0.51~0.9A for CH3. It uses a "hiccup mode" that automatically restarts the charger once the overload is resolved, eliminating the need for manual reset.
Over voltage protection: Guards against voltage spikes by cutting off output when voltage exceeds 15.87~18.63V (ADD-155A CH1), 31.74~37.26V (ADD-155B CH1), or 62.1~72.9V (ADD-155C CH1), protecting sensitive components.
Battery low protection: Prevents deep battery discharge by activating at 10V±0.8V (ADD-155A), 19.5V±1.5V (ADD-155B), or 39V±2V (ADD-155C). This extends battery lifespan and ensures batteries remain functional for emergency use.
Fixed switching frequencies: Operates at 67KHz (PFC) and 134KHz (PWM), minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ensuring consistent power output—critical for precision equipment like sensors or PLCs.
Fanless cooling: Relies on free air convection for heat dissipation, reducing noise, eliminating fan-related maintenance, and lowering failure risks. This design is perfect for dusty industrial cabinets or enclosed spaces.
Space-saving size: Measures only 1191150mm (LWH) and weighs 1Kg, fitting into tight installation areas (e.g., wall-mounted enclosures, small control panels) without sacrificing performance.
The ADD-155 UPS Charger’s versatility makes it a go-to solution for scenarios where power continuity directly impacts productivity, safety, or data integrity. Its tailored output and robust design suit the following key applications:
In manufacturing plants and factories, the ADD-155 powers programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor drives, and production sensors. During power outages, it prevents data loss in production workflows and avoids costly downtime caused by unexpected equipment shutdowns. The 5V auxiliary output also supports low-voltage control modules, ensuring full system functionality.
For CCTV cameras, DVRs, and NVRs, the charger ensures 24/7 monitoring—even during blackouts. Its stable 5V output directly powers low-voltage cameras, while the main DC output maintains battery backup for extended recording times. This reliability is critical for security systems in retail stores, warehouses, and public areas.
Emergency lighting, fire alarms, and public address (PA) systems depend on the ADD-155 to stay operational during crises. The battery low protection ensures these life-saving systems remain functional until grid power is restored, reducing risks of accidents or confusion in emergency situations.
Small-scale network devices (e.g., edge routers, mini switches) in remote offices or industrial sites use the ADD-155 to maintain connectivity. Its universal input handles unstable rural power grids, while its compact design fits into wall-mounted network enclosures. This ensures uninterrupted communication for remote teams or industrial IoT (IIoT) devices.
When paired with LEYU’s MPPT/PWM Solar Controllers, the ADD-155 stores solar-generated energy in batteries and acts as a backup during low-sunlight periods (e.g., nighttime, cloudy days). This integration makes it a key component in off-grid industrial setups, such as remote agricultural sensors or outdoor monitoring stations.
